Ben founded Allen Tomas & Co in 2013 and is the Managing Director of Allen Tomas & Co Financial Management Ltd. He is a Chartered Financial Planner with the Chartered Insurance Institute, an affiliate member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a Pension Transfer Specialist and a fully listed member of the Society of Later Life Advisers. Ben specialises in pensions, investments, long term care planning and holds a distinction in trust and estate planning. He strongly believes in sound holistic independent financial advice, working with client’s professional connections, building loyal relationships with clients and their families through trust, communication, detailed analysis, cash flow planning and understanding.
His passions are his family, his Labrador, good food, the Norfolk coast, innovation in business, snowboarding, tennis and watching rugby.
Michael is a Director at Allen Tomas & Co and holds the prestigious Chartered Insurance Institute “Fellow” and ‘Chartered Financial Planner’ titles, he is also an affiliate member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and an associate member of ‘Resolution’ an organisation specialising in Family Law. He works with Private, Corporate and Trust clients advising on all aspects of Financial Planning. Michael is uniquely placed to help clients through various life stages and support with succession planning for future generations. He specialises in Pensions & Inheritance Tax Planning (holding the CII Pension Transfer Specialist qualification) and his ethos is to build strong relationships with his clients, local accountants and solicitors to ensure a holistic approach is followed, achieving better outcomes for his clients.
Michael is a great lover of cricket and competes to a high standard locally in Norfolk, he also enjoys various other sports including the occasional round of Golf. In his spare time he enjoys long walks with his family and young Dachshunds, Bernie & Digby.
EDWARD W KUBIAKSenior Financial Planner
Edward graduated from Keele University in 1973 with a Degree in Law & Psychology and is fully Level 4 Qualified as an IFA. He worked on the Foreign Exchange (Forex) and traded in Cherished (Personal) Car Numbers before entering Financial Services. He became an IFA in 1990 since when he has advised HNW clients mainly in the City and around London. He specialises in pre- and post-retirement tax planning and has extensive experience in Estate Planning and IHT mitigation strategies including Wills, Trusts and POAs. He is a great believer in minimising tax for clients by utilising all available allowances. His long service as an IFA means that he is now advising the next generation of clients.
He has two grown children and his pastimes include cycling, music and finance.
RACHAEL SMITHMortgage & Protection Adviser
Rachael began her career in financial services in 2011 and has worked within a large Bank, Building Society and a network of successful UK Estate Agents. Her roles have included banking, management, coaching and a fully qualified Mortgage & Protection Adviser.
Rachael, not only has a wealth of knowledge within mortgages but also in the property and estate agency sectors. She is passionate about providing her clients with the best independent advice by offering her services in buying and selling property, commercial loans, residential mortgages such as remortgaging, buy to let, self-build, development finance and advising on financial protection for her clients and their families.
In her spare time Rachael loves long walks with her partner and cocker spaniel Milo and enjoys socialising with friends and family.
MAX RUSTFinancial Planner
Max is a proud member of the Chartered Insurance Institute Personal Finance Society and is passionate in assisting individuals and families to achieve their lifetime financial objectives. His expertise in pensions, investments, protection and estate planning allows him to operate alongside Professional associates to provide the highest level of service to our Clients.
Max plays rugby for West Norfolk Rugby Club, cricket for Castle Rising Cricket Club and supports Stoke City FC… for his sins. He also enjoys walking on Hunstanton beach, visiting physical landmarks such as Snowdonia, attending music festivals and spectating large sporting events.

JENNY BELHAMSenior Paraplanner/Operations Manager
Jenny started her financial services career in 2000, working for a large insurance company before moving into the role of Paraplanner for a local IFA, where she obtained the Financial Planning Certificate. Jenny has also spent a number of years working as an In-House Pensions Co-ordinator for a multi-national Food Production Company where she obtained a wealth of pension experience and qualifications under the PMI. Jenny has a Diploma in Financial Planning and is working towards her Chartered Status with the CII, which she hopes to achieve soon.
In her spare time Jenny enjoys spending time with her young family and during the summer months particularly enjoys the beautiful beaches along the North Norfolk coast.
Chloe joined Allen Tomas & Co as a Financial Administrator in early 2017, after completing a Diploma in Customer Services. Chloe showed an interest in the industry as she wanted a career that allowed progression and the opportunity to learn new skills. She aspires to obtaining qualifications within the financial services sector, in order to become a qualified Paraplanner.
During her spare time Chloe enjoys reading, socialising and spending days out with her family. She is a lover of all animals, in particular pandas!
BECKY ALLENMarketing Manager
Rebecca designs all our print media and has designed and developed our website. She also handles all our of social media. Her background is predominantly in local government where she spent nearly 10 years working in a communications team, maintaning websites and intranets, creating and editing graphics, developing social media and handling media enquiries.
Rebecca has, from a young age, always been interestd in computing and technology as well as being a keen cook. She loves lazy days spent with her husband, two young children and dog.
TRACEY CANEYClient Relationship Manager
Tracey joined us at the beginning of November 2013 in the firm’s infancy, progressing to Financial Administration Manager in 2018. Having worked in private and commercial banking for nearly 20 years, she entered the Financial Services industry in 1997 with a local advisory firm. She attained the Financial Planning Certificate in 2001 and joined a National IFA in 2005, working closely with the financial advisers in a compliance function, before becoming PA to the Managing Director.
In her spare time, Tracey is a 1940’s/50’s re-enactor and possesses an extensive collection of original clothing and accessories from the era. She is also a motor racing enthusiast.
CARRIE MARSHALLFinancial Administrator
Having worked in hospitality and customer services over the last 13 years and gaining NVQs and Diplomas in these areas, Carrie is now using this experience to welcome and assist new and existing clients at the Fakenham office. She is keen to build a career in the financial services sector and is excited to gain knowledge along the way.
She is a true local, and feels very lucky to have been born and raised in Norfolk. Away from work she enjoys spending time with her young family, visiting the cinema and cooking.
LEAH BARTLETTClient Relationship Manager
Leah joined us in September 2018 as a Trainee Financial Administrator, having achieved 3 A levels in Business, Economics and Sociology. She is looking forward to working in the financial services industry and broadening her knowledge in this field and plans to attain the diploma in regulated financial planning in the future.

KIA HENSONFinancial Administrator
Kia joined us in August 2019 from school where she achieved an A in Mathematics and B Business Studies at A-level; they also happened to be her favourite subjects, so this was where her interest in financial services stemmed from. In the future she hopes to become a qualified Financial Administrator and then progress her career into Paraplanning.
She enjoys being outside, active, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures hence her love of travel! She also loves spending time with her dog, Bonnie the Chihuahua.
SOPHIE DREWFinancial Administrator
Sophie joined us mid-2018, having spent a number of years in previous administrative roles. She provides youth and experience to support all members of the office, particularly the existing administration team.
During her spare time she enjoys baking, reading and long coastal walks with her two dogs.
